Influenced by the music of the most exclusive clubs in London which mix punk and indie, ENERGIE menswear collection fall/winter 2007 does likewise; neo sartorial with plaid; tradition with transgression, evolving its image from a denim brand into a new young generation of tailoring.
This season’s collection offers tweed; retro wools; oxford cottons which are used in college shirts, to bind together with small and thin neckties (often incorporated).
From red to white, from “purple rain” to black, this is the age of new rock’s royalty.
The Energie collection remains military, but continues to preserve a hint of vintage, becoming noble and sophisticated, contaminated by uniform type tailoring and cuts, giving life to tail coats, vests, pea coats and shirts (polka dot, ‘70s, tartan and plaid prints).
