What are your views on body piercing today compared to a decade ago? |
Actually, the piercing culture has been around for a long time.
I mean, even Egyptian mummies sported them! That's how far back the tradition goes. If we really have to compare body piercing today and a decade ago, I would have to say facial piercings are more common today than ten years ago. |

What constitute a good tattoo? |
Basically, as long as the customer is satisfied with the design and the tattoo artist has skillfully inked the skin, in terms of aesthetics, placement, handiwork, suitability and even durability of the image. Ideally, both (inkee and inker) should look into the mirror at the end of the session and go… WOW!

People express their individuality via body art (i.e. tattoo) and body mutilation. What are your views on this? |
Well, we don’t believe in mutilating the body. More like Decorating (Body Décor? No pun intended). Definitely we appreciate customers who know what they want and are proud to show the final piece. |

What safety advice can you dispense to people who are keen on getting their body pierced? |
Please refrain from taking alcohol or painkillers before the piercing, thinking they will help numb the pain. These substances thin your blood, and will cause the piercing to bleed unnecessarily. |
What about the safety precautions for tattoos? |
A good artist is a must; he/she must do the tattoo in a clean and comfortable environment with sterile equipments. Especially needles… no one wants to share needles. |
Do you design the tattoos for your customers? If so, what are the more popular designs? |
Yes. In fact, more customers come with their own designs and requests for modification or customisation. The more popular designs at the moment are Polynesian tribal designs, stars, and Japanese art. |
| |
Do you have customers coming to you with their own designs? If so, what’s the most unusual design you’d been requested to do? |
| |
We like people who’ve done their research and invigorating, new ideas. But hopefully, it is something which is sensible. The most unusual design asked was a Lego Koi.

In your opinion, what kind of designs do men prefer on women? |
| |
Definitely images which are flattering and feminine… like clothing… the tattoo should compliment her.
| |
Similarly, what type of designs does women like on men? |
| |
Butterflies? If it speaks of the men’s confidence, why not?
